One-Piece Cutting Board (Part 1)

Class Description

In this two part course you will learn how to create a sculptural cuttingboard from one solid piece of wood. We will go over proportion and design, as well as the machining, sanding, and finishing of the cutting board.

Ages 13+

Class cost: $60

Class length: Two, 2-hour sessions | May 5th and 7th from 6:00-8:00pm

Instructor Bio

Danny Lang (he/him) is the Founder and Executive Director of Reclaimed! He is also a talented woodworker and an all around skilled Maker. 

He moved around from Florida to Georgia, back to Florida then to the Catskills of New York State, where his family hails from. From there, Danny ended up at Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont. He earned a degree in Renewable Energy and Ecological Design with a concentration in Art and Business. After the closing of Green Mountain College, Danny saw the importance of continuing the mission of the GMC REED program, and so “REclaimED” was born. 

Danny now lives in the historic area of East Poultney and teaches people how to make their ideas become reality in a variety of different materials and processes at Reclaimed.
